That damn Emperor Norton! So full of himself, with his own money and that shitty ass beard. And, you know, non-existant status.

Sounds more like Edward Norton. Well, except for the non-existant part.

Compassionately intolerant

I don't know if that means it's sold out or if Bartleby the Scrivenor works there.
hearts Ginger

Bartleby (my dog) hearts Ginger too and will try to get his namesake on the stick...but ya know, that could be hard.

I'm heartingly hoping that Allyson's sockpuppet saw something on that mystery list that corresponds with the the cradle of democracy a northeastern town with a few stone reminders of past glory. Or, ya know, hotair central.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The online trailer gives me no love. I'm a technodummy.

Are you broadband or dial-up? I was trying to watch it last night, but it was so slow to be playable (I'd get like another 3 seconds for every minute or so I waited to hit play again) that I gave up. Hopefully, I'll see it before HhG2tG.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm on broadband. But my version of Windows is ME (the suckiest of the suck) and I'm not sure I've got all the codecs. I'll check and see if I have the latest Quicktime version.

When I click the link on the trailer site it takes me to Apple's site that wants me to download ITunes. WHICH DOESNT FUCKING WORK WITH WINDOWS ME.

  • sigh* Time to get a new computer.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I know Deena posted some lj icons based on the trailer but I found some straight screencaps here: [link]

Yup, Boston's sold out, according to Fandango.

I'm curious how many were available to the public. It would be a way to guesstimate how the the movie is going to do.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone else gotten tickets?

Now I'm wondering if I should have bought more than one in case it's sold out for other Chicagoistas....

I got 2, which was the limit. Everyone needs to send larger-theatre-ma in the direction of the Hollywood 24 in NE Atlanta. Apparently Universal told them to show it in a small room, but after it sold out so quickly they were going to ask Universal to let them move it into a larger one.

I called Ginger as soon as I found out the limit was 2, and she left home before I could call her back to tell her that it had already sold out. She is at the box office awaiting the word from Universal.
