The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Although, technically, only Mal and Zoe are really rebels.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I live to serve.

Here I am

Fifty years from now I'm going to break into a top secret military installation, steal a time machine and come back to pick myself up so me and I can fast forward to September and watch Serenity.

I should be here any minute . . .

"what's left when you take biology and sociology out of the picture?" "An autistic hermaphodite." -Allyson

So, I'm doing a frame by frame run through the trailer, and lemme just say that this seems to be the "River kicks everybody's ass, hard " episode we never got. At last count, we've got a bar fulla dudes, a room fulla Reavers, some random dude getting kicked in the chest, and if I'm not mistaken, her brother Simon getting a boot to the head.

As a strong proponent of the theory that if violence isn't solving your problems, you're obviously not using enough, I approve.

Hey. New board.

Is this original or taken from somewhere? Because it's brilliant. I might tag it, if you're willing.

I doubt it's completely original, (so little of my schtick is, really) but go right ahead. Always happy to take credit where it isn't due.

Hey. New board.

Done and done. Thanks. And now, sleep. 'Night.

Trust my rage

So I got this e-mail this morning, linking to this message from Joss. [link]

Apparently, the link tells us that there will be a sneak preview of Serenity on May 5th at 10pm in the following cities.

Seattle
Austin
Sacramento
Boston
Altanta
Chicago
San Francisco
Las Vegas
Denver
The Portland of Oregon

I am so bummed I no longer live in Denver.

Here's the link to the page about the screenings -- [link] The Atlanta one keeps saying "cannot process request." I don't know if that means it's sold out or if Bartleby the Scrivenor works there. The other cities' links seem to work, although some are apparently sold out.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Either San Francisco is sold out, or it's just not working properly yet. I'm'a call the theater today and see if I can get hold of an actual human and find out which it is. If it's sold out I will be hugely sulky (though in a vaguely happy way -- it's a big damn theater, and if it's completely sold out within hours of the announcement, that's rather cool -- but really, still sulky).

I don't know if that means it's sold out or if Bartleby the Scrivenor works there.
