I knew a while ago (without reading spoilers) that we wouldn't - it seemed natural that the first movie would be the River movie.
And, yes, the Booklessness is concerning to me, too.

Don't forget, Ron Glass was photographed by the BDM banner and has appeared at some Cons, so that's enough to tell me he is in the flick.
The "Six rebels on the run" text during the promo is annoying. Of course, it can be argued that it refers to the 6 "original" members of the crew--Mal, Zoe, Wash, Jayne, Kaylee, and Inara. Shepherd Book, Simon, and River could still technically be called Passengers, since they still live in the passenger quarters.
