Allyson, thank you for the recommendation of Tamara.
I'm reading everyone's excitement, and I feel so close to it, but I'm not with it, you know? It's an odd feeling.
I felt this way for a while but I think being so excessively neglectful of F:IA that places aren't linking it as a "regularly updated site" has given me a lot of the space I needed to come back to it refreshed. But I always liked the show more than you did.
Tamara, you come highly recommended. (See above.) If you like, you can e me at my profile addy and we can discuss details.
I didn't take Anthony's post as a crack at Allyson but I also have been so absent from this board that anything subtle ever would completely elude me.
Anyway. It has always seemed to me that when Allyson and Kristen work their tails off without any pay, it's for the fans. The creators benefit, and that's lovely for them I'm sure, but that's not the group for whom these women do things.
Kalshane, I couldn't get the fullscreen to work, either; it kept freezing and refusing to restart.
Okay, guys, here we go. For saving the trailer in the highest quality, you can use these links to my webserver.
Fullscreen version in the original Quicktime form (40.4 MB)
Reencode to high quality XviD AVI for people that hate quicktime
ETA: The quicktime is exactly the same as the direct link posted a few posts back, which wasn't there when I composed this post.
Oh, thank you! Cause I hate QuickTime.
Ooh, thanks for the links. I already had the QT file saved, but it'll be even better to have an AVI copy.
I *really* hate QuickTime now that Apple forces me to download iTunes to play it.
That's very strange, Betsy. It only does that for the fullscreen, though, right? I can view the Large size fine without iTunes.
Whoa whoa whoa!
Allyson: You're not hard to find. If I have something to say to you I wouldn't do it here. I was reacting more to the Talkbacks I'm involved with over at AICN and since motivation to see the film is a subject here as well so I put my $.02 in.
Kristen: Based solely on the fact that someone says they love Show A then turns around and says Show A doesn't do it for me, I'm all about Show B now, that does seem a little fickle to me. Makes me think how much they loved Show A in the first place. Now if you add in all this other stuff which I thought was secondary and now turns out that it wasn't the show itself that was actually loved, that's a different story. In fairness, posting a whole big deal and then deleting it doesn't help your anti-fickle cause. Honestly I meant no insult by it, I apologize that you took offense. They also say girls are sugar and spice and everything nice. It's not like I was the one who makes these things up.
They also say girls are sugar and spice and everything nice.
Not if they want to keep their testicles.
