Oh. My. Goodness.
That was a bloody marvellous Trailer!!!
*goes to watch for seventh time*
goes to watch for seventh time
I would if I could - I could only justify three times in the office - people are starting to figure out that I'm not working half the time - I'm chatting here.
Beej, due to timing (score isn't recorded until film is all cut, and trailers often come out before that time), they almost never use music from the actual film in trailers. They actually use music from OTHER movies on a regular basis. Freaky, but there you go.
Yeah. The Basil Pouledoros Conan The Barbarian score used to show up a LOT in trailers.
H2G2 isn't Universal.
The Interpreter is. Does this mean that it's more likely that the Serenity trailer will be attached to the Interpreter than to H2G2? Or is that how these things are done?
I think that was my seventh time just now. Maybe.
Maybe it's just the trailer, but it seems like there's almost no Western left besides some tinges in Mal's dialogue. Which, I mean, okay, I'm more a sci-fi fan than a Western fan. But someone needs to shoot a horse.
That makes sense.
Would it have killed them to use the series music? It being of the 'verse and all?
Okay. I'm done on this count. I swear.
eta: Oh wait. Fox vs. Universal. No mixy rightes. Okay. Now I'm REALLY done.
One of the LOTR:TTT trailers featured music from Requiem for a Dream. (they mixed it differently, though)
I can't risk watching more than once at work.
I'm guessing (hoping) they're playing down the Western aspects for the trailer to try to appeal to a wider audience but they'll be more present in the actual movie.
