The Futon Critic reports that Titan Publishing Group, a big supporter of Joss Whedon's work, has two major Serenity projects in development: The Serenity screenplay book and Serenity: The Official Souvenir Magazine.
Speaking of FIREFLY books, I picked up "Finding Serenity" - looks like it's of a piece with the "# Seasons of Buffy/Angel" books.
One minor surprise - I thought Jane E. was a co-editor but she's actually credited solo for it. Go, Jane E!
It really is a good book. I was particularly appreciative of the essay that details out all the Chinese in all the episodes.

A friend went to Amazon to buy the DVDs (yeah, me! I had viewing parties at my place, but she and her husband missed the last one, so just had to buy a set for themselves), and the book popped up "others have bought." She decided that I needed to have it. I let her know that she should go with these thoughts whenever they popped up!

Seems Joss and some of the cast have been confirmed for Wizard World in Philadelphia in June. Maybe I'll go... it's only a couple hours away.
I have a Firefly fan friend who is getting married (to another fan, natch). I'm trying to come up with some lovely quotes for the card, but so far am brain dead. Can anyone out there think of some wedding/happy future together type quotes from any of the episodes? Many thanks!
