Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Jess, I love the colors! And the kitchen ceiling is gorgeous!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

All is well that ends in pizza.

I painted the den, with all the bookshelves, three years ago and I'm still resting.

Heh. I tell everyone I'm waiting for my muse.

Muse.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oooh, nice. And on sale. It's not the actual painting that bothers me--it's the prep. And the clean up. *shudder* All that taping and draping.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Hello again! The party was successful. Aidan got toys he liked and everyone had cake, and we forgot the sorbet in the freezer, so we're eating it now.

Instead of making my own shortcake, I cheated and bought a chocolate marble pound cake from the grocery store. It was amazingly good. I topped it with Kool Whip (for the lack of lactose) and sliced strawberries. Aidan thought blowing out the #2 candle was pretty awesome, and said, "YAY AIDAN!" when we all clapped for him.

Thanks for all the happy birthdays. He's quite bewildered by them, but I'm having fun popping up at him with happy birthday wishes. I love how he blinks when he's startled.

So, I watched the Superbowl (or, more the commercials) with some friends, and now I'm home and watching the Puppybowl, on Animal Planet. It is seriously random, but oddly endearing.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

YAY AIDEN! Indeed.

I have survived the weekend, and it was OK. Possibly even fun, if I were the type of person who would allow that to happen instead of stressing out about all the stress. Which, luckily, I can be, upon occasion. My mom seemed really happy, and everyone seemed to have a good time, and things more or less went according to plan. As an event planner, I love it when things go according to plan.

Also, as my dad told me over lunch, the project stayed on budget. Again, event planner gold!

Now, where did I put those participant evaluation forms...

Plus, yay, Pats won the Superbowl again because they are unstoppable. But the Eagles are a good team, though young. Get them through another playoff season in the next year or two and they may well be a force to be reckoned with. They remind me of the Patriots with Drew Bledsoe.

OK, bed now, big week coming up.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Aidan day!

Great pictures, Jess.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Puppy Bowl watch and post. I'm not sure if that's a new high or low for us.

Superbowl commercials - my favorite had to be the persian cat and the tomato sauce.
