We had pancakes (made with sour cream and lemon zest - go microplane!). Emmett got some Nieman Ranch apple smoked bacon (soooooooo goooooood).
We're watching Spongebob vs. the Tattletale Strangler, which has one of the funnier/more shocking moments in contemporary TV animation. To wit, "I'm trying! But my cleats are stuck in your corneas!"
Oh! Speaking of Zmayhem, tell JZ the book made it here safely, and thanks! I don't know when I'll find time to read it, since I need to get momentum going on this bloody thesis, stat.

I know the power of funny hats. our summer reading game was " Hats off to reading" I often roved around the library with a big pink octopus on my head.
ION, we are picking up a juccuzzi from someone Javacat knows today. While they won't start until the weather is consistantly warmer ( 2nd bathroom is in the garage) It looks like we are taking the bathroom back to the studs. possibly some plumbing being moved. and it has to be finished before labor day.
