Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I find I like Manolo more, because he writes more often, and I agree with him more often -- and he's just not as mean ... no, that's not it. Some of his stuff is actually interesting, and has nothing to do with mocking celebrities. Still pretty shallow, but I love shoes more now, because of him.
