Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ginger, I love this. I feel that way at the end of every school day.

Hee. Yeah, I'm getting you. Today's my early off day: block day, but I only have one class, over at 1:30.

Deb, thanks for betaing. I"m ditching the name. Its annoyance factor isn't worth tha vague reasons I had for it.

I showed Romeo and Juliet (Luhrmann version) today in class. The kids are all "Why are they talking like that?" but they love Tybalt, but are totally weirded out by Mercurtio. All in all, it went well.

Fun for me, too.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That is absolutely amazing.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Now I'm tired and I think I used up all my personality.

This happens to me every time I present, have company over, or deal with Aidan stuff -- the public, pretty much. Greg says I flip a switch and it's a little disconcerting to him to watch.

Thanks, LJ. I've missed you.

It's not the bank's mistake, unfortunately. I don't know if you all recall, but I did this in a much smaller way a little bit ago. Unfortunately, at that time, when I balanced everything out and deducted the fees from the budget, I didn't check to make sure all the checks that were out had cleared and I just figured out that there were still checks out then, which has had us running at less than I thought we had for almost 2 months. I just went back over the last 3 months and figured it out. Man, I feel stupid, and yet glad to know what happened. I was starting to feel like I was in crazy melty math land. This time, it should all be straightened out and not lurking to bite us in the ass when the bank account dips under $20.00. Whew. That's actually a relief.

I'm glad you figured it out, Deena. Getting hit with overdraft charges when you think that money's there is terrible.

Punishingly Intricate

This time, it should all be straightened out

Well that's something. I feel for you. I've so been there and I'm only in charge of caring for one person's finances. So very stressful.

Also stressful in a much more shallow way is trying to find the perfect top at the stupid mall. they have nothing and made me feel as ugly as ass on burnt toast. bleh.

It certainly didn't improve my day and put me a good way behind on the work I need to get done, but I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on the work until I did it, so I'm glad I found it.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. It means a lot.

Now, off to snuggle the small fry.
