Geico fucked me over hard when I had to make a claim. They didn't pay up until I threatened to get them in trouble -- and that was months after I'd spent about three or four grand out of my own pocket on repairs and rentals.

One of Aidan's therapists is supposed to come today. She calls on her cell phone to confirm before coming, and today I think, with the head colds and the crankies, I'm going to cancel. Unfortunately, she hasn't called yet, which isn't like her. I hope she doesn't pick today to just show up.

Oh! Aidan and Kara are watching Dora the Explorer. Aidan just said, "Backpack!" Wheee! Boy's adding words faster than I can count them.

Hi -t! Work and school have been taking all my time. I've also been sucked into lj land...

My current class ends today - Functions of Management - I should have an A, but won't know for sure until next week. My next class - Organizational Behavior - start tomorrow. FUN!!! Normally I ge a week off between classes, but they are reshuffling schedules around and this is what I ended up with.

Work - we are still short handed. The gal who went to India to get married is back. The one who had emergency surgery is not due back until April at the earliest. I'm not having to pull overtime to meet deadlines anymore, but still doing more than my normal workload.

My birthday is in a week and I'm feeling old already.

She's very sweet, and I'm sure she'll be accomodating. She's got little people of her own so I just hate to share our germs with her.

He is a good guy. And, I talked to him this morning. Turns out he ordered the flowers before all the mess about my sister yesterday. He said he could just tell I needed flowers, but he didn't know why. His exact words, "I felt a disturbance in the Force. You needed flowers." He's such a geek and that's one of the reasons I love him.
