Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pretty sweet, connie.

hm, anyone have experience in getting rental insurance? We're trying to figure out how much we need, and we are trying to decide between 25K and 50K.

I'd definitely get the larger amount, Nora. You don't realize how much your stuff adds up to.

We can't have renter's insurance. Apparently, in MA insurance companies won't rent to students. I call every month or so to see if it's changed, but so far nothing. It freaks me out SO much, especially since a building a block from here burned a couple of months ago.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

If I can't manage to fall asleep before 4AM tonight, I'm going to cry.

So! How's folks? I sleepily skipped.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well, I had my three-month review today, and it went well (oddly, since I've technically only been here 2 months, but whatever), and then my boss had to leave early to go to the dentist. This ensures that I will do no more work today. Perhaps there are some cats that need stacking...

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

When in doubt, stack cats.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Heather do you concentrate better in silence in other scenarios? Have you ever hushed anyone to stop them distracting you, or turned off the TV?

Maybe. I'm not sure. It doesn't really bother me I don't think. I'm usually pretty good (or according to Mr. H, bad) about tuning out if I'm into something, and things going on around me don't bother me. I can't listen to more than 2 things at once, and can't pay close attention to more than one.

I'm outta here. We've got sleet, hail and/or snow on the way and we don't have the equipment or the drivers to deal. Later y'all.

We can't have renter's insurance.

vw, have you ever checked to see if you can be covered under your parents' homeowners? When I was in college and was mugged, I turned out to be covered under that policy (despite living 500 miles from home and living in an apartment). That was in NY.

Thrive to spite them

I just talked to Grandma, and I need more ~ma. The ER was supposed to call the doctor and let them know that my great aunt was coming this morning.

They didn't, so the doctor was booked up and couldn't squeeze my great aunt in. I can understand that. They won't see her until Friday. This, I don't understand.

My great aunt wanted to go to the beach, but Grandma talked her out of it, said how nice it would be to have a visit, and this was enough to convince my great aunt. Now, if we can just keep her in town on Friday. But this is going to be a strain, Grandma's place is small and, as much as I love GreatAunt, she can be tiring.

And there's no other place for her to go, not here in town. And even if her son that lives half a day from here comes down -- then we have to find a place for him.

Tonight I'm going over there after work and ordering pizza and hang out with them.

I'm too old. I think they only do that till you're 24 or 25.

Also, much ~ma headed towards askye's family.

Oy. I don't even know what to hope for, askye. Good luck.
