Not that you are anything but a gorgeous creature but seeing you, Kristin, when you are waking up and I haven't slept is just wrong. For both of us.
But the going to bed at 8 bodes well for having slept some good sleep.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I kilt Bitches and Natter. Sowwwy... Shoulda got a flu shot.
Not killed. Sleeping.
Except those us with colds and crazy, early rising babies.
Owen,
Look deeply into momma's very pretty eyes. They look lots like yours, right?
Well Sleep makes them much more sparkley.
And also useful to draw minions under your thrall. Try it.
Sleep and see how powerful you can become.
Also? The books? Gawd the cute. Reading is good.
Love,
Auntie Cass
Dear Auntie Cass,
It's so funny to see Mommy get up early. Her hair is sticking up and her eyes are all sleepy.
Plus, she gives me a bottle and turns on the tv.
Besides, I'll catch up with two naps today.
Love, Owen
P.S. BWHAHAHAHAHA
Dear Owen,
No laughing at the mommy. Even for sticky up hair. (Okay, but try to control it into a grin that might mean teeth, might mean funny)
The bottle contains the Sleepy Nectar of Milk (or milk replacement). It will lull you back to the land of twitchy baby dreams.
Watch the tv. The soothing colors and editing make Baby Owen very sleepy cause he is up early. Very sleepy. Slumping against the mommy and happy to be put down to dream for a couple more hours...
Love, Auntie Cass
When you sleep, mommy can sleep too... Hee hee....
From your fingertips to his wee ears, Cass.
Not that it's a huge issue--I got a whole six hours last night and that feels damn good. And I'll get to share at least one nap today.
Timelies all! Sorry for the insomnia and early-rising babies.
askye, much ~ma headed your family's way.
Daniel, good luck with all the job craziness.
Yay for SA being on Steph's couch!
Yay for Deena stopping by! And for physical therapy that works! And clients that raise their own rates!
I have MUCH to do on my to-do list today. Must get to it. Some of it requires surfing of the Internet, though, so that's always fun.
Hi Lee! Hi Beverly! Hi vw!
Drew, I really wanted to send you a postcard, but everytime I was about to start scribbling to you I realised you'd MOVED! It was mildly frustrating.
It's about five to eight inthe morning, and my body is insisting that it's really one in the afternoon and I should be up up up! But at least this looks good for getting back on a regular time schedule.
askye, I hope your dad's cousins take the hint, easily. That's too much strain on your grandmother.
Hivemind question: Very congested. What is the best way of clearing my head and sinuses? I am torn between dry heat, moist heat, steam, cold and Things That Require Stuff like herbs and oils - which I also have or am willing to hunt and gather. I think I can get myself to sleep tonight so I am not hoping for an instant cure (not that I would decline) so much as gathering new ways to deal with not being able to breathe well.
Cass, for me, moist heat and steam help. An antihistimine helps sometimes, lots of Vitamin C (in food/juice for me usually, because I'm kind of medicine averse). At any rate, pound down the water and juice, because that helps, too.
Julie, who used to post here, told me dairy and caffeine are no-nos, although I never did manage to eschew the caffeine entirely. Hot drinks seem to help too, as did letting the hottest-shower-I-could-stand pound away on my head where the congestion felt the strongest. In the past I have used those Breathe Right strips. I think they worked or at least provided the sort of relief any believable placebo would. If you think your sinuses are infected, not just congested, get some antibiotics.
Dear Owen,
You're already too beautiful. You don't need to be evil, too.
Love,
Auntie Cindy
