I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hmmmm...I actually thought that was the same cut. Now I'm gonna have to go dig up other pictures to see.

Could've been - it was just more aggessively styled in LA with the back spiked up and cool looking.

The point though is this: shorter bangs are good on your face, and you can afford to be a bit fashion forward. Not everybody benefits from edgier styles, but I think you have the features to pull it off. It enhances rather than detracts with you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Who had surgery? What's going on? Is everything okay?

Dude, you did. We put in a radio remote in your head, which is really the only reason to explain why you volunteered to organize NOLA stuff.

(for which, thanks, btw.)

You know, I think it is the same cut...I just spiked the hair in the back for the Prom.

edit: or what Hec said.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oh, and -- my hair doesn't look like a mental patient's. Though I *am* insane. My hair, thanks to the 50-degree rainy weather, is OOC curly and I love it.

Fashion questions: can one wear brown fishnets with black boots? And if not, can one dye the aforementioned brown fishnets with Rit to make them black?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I forgot! There are no hairstylists in Boston.

The thing is that I have a history and relationship with Erica- I trust her absolutely. I sit down, I tell her to do whatever she wants, she cuts it all off in a fabulous manner, and I have a rocking haircut for like 4 months (the cuts grow out really nicely too). Every time I go somewhere around here, it's OK, but not the same. I mean, the total trust factor is rare, I think. And CT isn't that far away. Obviously, if she moved to Miami or something, I'd have to step up my search for someone around here. Or go back to long hair, which really doesn't look great on me at all.

vw, what salon does Jen use?

That explains the headaches.

(for which, thanks, btw.)

You're welcome! It really wasn't all that much work. Also, I am freakish and like organizing events.

Liquid Hair Studio [link] She sees (or at least used to) Camille, who is really quite fabulous. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Plus, the salon is SO fun.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I'm starting to feel like Kristen Dunst in 'Interview with the Vampire'. Because, less than a year ago, I hacked off all of my hair- the shortest it had ever been. It's as long as ever now. I thought it took, you know, time for your hair to grow.

ETA: Yep, it was the end of February- the same day I went to see Gavin DeGraw and Barenaked Ladies. I remember, because when I was getting a cd signed by Gavin DeGraw he said "I like your hair." Which made me happy because I was feeling very insecure about it.
