Love isn't brains, children, it's blood, blood screaming inside you to work its will.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Speaking of haircuts...I DESPERATELY need one. I really want to get one before Emily's birthday party so I don't look all crazy.

That's true. In between haircuts you all tend to look mentally deranged. That's bad as a style statement.

boggled, and joining Tep in the jealousy

Well, to be honest, she's got way more experience with drugs than the both of you combined. And not in the pharmacological journal way. So it was a bit more important for her to get off, if you know what I mean.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I could use a cut, too, but that means a trip to CT.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

But the surgery worked? She's pain-free, then?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So it was a bit more important for her to get off, if you know what I mean.

Ah. I understand.

Actually, yesterday was my first full day off the Percoset, 7 weeks after the accident and 5 weeks after surgery. It still hurts, but I think part of that is due to the extreme fucking cold that we've been experiencing. Broken bones with titanium plates on them no likey sub-freezing temperatures with high winds, no siree. Plus, I now need to fix the teeth that got damaged in all of the fun.

Yes, ma'am. She noted also (unprompted by me) that she needed to drop you an email and thank you for all of your help and info. She is genuinely grateful. (As am I.)

I forgot! There are no hairstylists in Boston. Damn blue laws. How's vw going to get her hair cut now? It's a crisis.

Yeah, I've gotta decide what I'm gonna do about a cut. My girl moved to Maine or Vermont or something. The girl that did my last cut was ok, but I didn't love it. I'm afraid to go back to her. I could go to the co-owner again, who is fabulous, and who our Jen goes to, but she's more expensive.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Ima so going to bogart vw's girl. Mwah!

Timelies everybody. Today I ABSOLUTELY MUST do laundry, dishes, and other assorted cleaning. First, I spend an hour on the couch drinking coffee. (I made Dunkin Donuts coffee this morning. It is verra good.)

So, what do we think about this [link] as a haircut? Good?

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

But, he's also going to call the medical director at BCBS, because he thinks that may be even more effective.

It definitely will be. Nothing cuts through bureaucracy like doctor to doctor communication.

Good luck, sweetie.
