Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
vw, I'm so sorry

vw, was she ill for some time?
She was diagnosed with stage three pancreatic cancer in August. So, yeah, she was ill for a while.
She was so young, though. It just doesn't seem fair.
Click and Clack are talking about the east coast snowstorm on Car Talk.
heh.
Ray's wife (on phone): Ray, you're an idiot!
It just doesn't seem fair.

Oh, ack. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. A friend of mine lost her violin teacher last year.

Susan W: re: reenacting. I am a bit biased in this since I do Civil War reenacting, but I love it. It's a great way to learn about the time period. My only caution is, be very careful about who you get information from. Among reenactors, there are some who are militant about remaining true to the period, others who are a bit more half-assed and yet others who go by whatever they see in a movie (ack!).
Coffee now, please
Oh man, pancreatic cancer is so horrible. {{{vw}}} Was she local? Will you be attending a wake/funeral?
Was she local? Will you be attending a wake/funeral?
Yeah. She was one of the women in V-Day last year. She's in the Worcester area. I'm not sure I'll be able to attend the funeral, since it may be on a school day, but I'll definitely try to go to the wake.
