Now I'm picturing an employee manual: "Employees are not to stack cats while on company time."
Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hi, Lee. Fire is good when it's in a fireplace and it's cold outside. In LA, nsm, though, true.
I am watching Towering Inferno: The longest PSA ever.
I learned that I should not use faulty wiring. Also, to not use the elevator when I'm on fire. Or that elevators cause fires. Something like that - fire and elevators are unmixy things.
Both of which you just said very effectively in under 100 words. This movie is over 2 hours long. However, it is hi-larious.
Hold my belt.
Nora, for what it's worth, this lady is an alcoholic.
While I understand your frustation, I woudn't consider this incident a huge breakdown of your resolution towards drinking. Considering the quality of the FREE booze you partook of, I admire your restraint. I'd have been guzzling. Don't beat yourself up over it, Love.
Sideways was a nicely done little movie, but it affected me on a number of levels, for a number of different reasons.
Awwww, Bev. Me, too. Particularly all the exterior shots of vineyards.
I hate, that for the rest of my life, every decision to drink or not drink will be analyzed and reasoned, and allowed or disallowed.
Always wondering if you're justifying or not? I can so relate, sweetie.

I'm definitely going to have to pick up that movie, it sounds...yummy. If that's a good way to describe a movie. I need another road trip. The one we took to Napa was one of the best I've been on in a while. I miss all the peeps and the way we would coalesce and then break up into couplets or triplets and then all merge again to squee over something. Sigh. We need our own Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Maybe the HoYay Sisterhood. I could go for that.
DebetEsse has a new tag.
She is on my couch killing Goths.
Beverly - we miss you too!
{{Nora}} a hard place to be. I can think of all kinds of ways and ideas to help- but I think self- knowledge is the best tool for you. Just keep asking your self questions.
I'm teaching an early morning class tomorrow. Last week, there were 15 people registered. Now, it's down to 6. I am so incredibly tempted to try to get these six to transfer into other sections (still taught by me, but on different days) so that I don't have to get up early on Fridays. (Of course, I'm pretty sure that they don't want to get up early on Fridays either, and that if they could have transfered, they would have.)
