is the director Zach your Zach?
Yup. It's a fun little skit.
Betsy - I have no idea, but why do you want to know about Neo-Mithraists?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We were talking about Mithraism and Xianity in Literary. I think she wrong-threaded.
But, anyone?
Actually, I decided Mithraism belonged in Bitches rather than Literary. Don't ask me why.
I was curious, because Mithraism was a mystery religion, which means that nobody knows what exactly they believed. I wondered if people were trying to revive it in spite of that.
Mithraism was an offshoot of Zoroastrianism, right? With Mithra getting born from a stone in a manger or something? (eta: ALso something abotu bulls, but who wasn't into bulls?)I haven't heard of any modern revivals, but I probably wouldn't.
Pretty, juliana! Did you do the make-up and wardrobe?
JZ is a knockout in the pic. Believe me when I say it was 100 times more powerful in person. This year's Prom proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Mithraism used to be thought to be of Persian origin, but that theory's been disputed of late. It had something to do with bull sacrifice. We know this because there are a whole bunch of mithraeums underground, and they all have pictures of this guy killing a bull.
I did the makeup, but the talented costumer who made my wedding outfit did the costumes.
I've always been vaguely intruiged by Mithraism.
Whoa! Thanks, Erin!
I'm ordering groceries online. Emily is concerned about the person that has to deliver them. I told her if they weren't delivering to us, they'd be delivering to someone else, so they might as well be delivering to us.
