Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Good, Cass. Good. (Cut me in and I'll be your goon. I'd be a damn good, too.)

Adds 'choker' to F2F Wardrobe Shopping List.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Maybe your superpower could be to ferment stuff. You could turn water into wine!

Oops, that's been done.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My neighborhood seemed a lot safer before I was aware of this crime stuff.

Most neighborhoods do.

Unless you intentionally move into crack central.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Lilty in a choker as my goon. You know barring the crime, my life is goooooood...

Oops, that's been done.
And look what happened to him...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, what's a mezzuzah? is it the Star of David?

It's a prayer, written in teeny tiny letters, and then the paper is rolled up and put in a case. There are ones that are hand-written on special parchment that are put on door frames, but the necklace ones are generally machine-printed on regular paper. Mine has the paper rolled up inside a clear glass tube, with the letter side out so it shows through, with silver caps on the top and bottom. Really tiny (about half an inch tall) and relatively simple -- they make fancier ones, but I like the simple for this.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Cracks knuckles.

We does what we can, Cass.

Heh, I'm so tired I'm nonsensical now, and it's both fun and sleepy. I ended up working from 8 am to 1 am yesterday (today?), then back to work 8 am to about 7 pm tonight. It was worth it, though, because my boss felt so bad that I got a fluffy $80 bathrobe for $10, and A FIVE DAY WEEKEND! She maintains that it's just the way the schedule fell. She's lying, and I don't care.

I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself with that much unexpected time off!

Oh! Ok, yes, I've seen those. I'm not at all religious, but I love the idea of a teeny scroll on a necklace...although my all-time favorite wishlist fashion acessory is the Evil!Willow Full Body Text (IN YOUR CHOICE OF FONTS!)

EDIT

Hil, not implying necklace is only fashion acessory, and not religious object, BTW,

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yay Hil!

um ... I know there is bunches more I should comment on, but I'm probably going to stumble away from the computer very very soon, as my headache turned into a full-on migraine. Pete came and got me from work because I was feeling unwell.

Someone remind me tomorrow, and I will post links to my favorite places to buy chokers. Why yes, I have lots. In fact, chokers are pretty much the only style of necklace I wear.

If I only had a brain...

I'm thinking violet with just a hint of absinthe.
