It seems that everyone has something important to say. When I try to think back over my day all I can remember, for the most part, is just trying to get through another day. If I were to have any super important thoughts my brain would fry. Lately, life has been a race to the following weekend.

Me too. And this semester all the classes I'm teaching are at either 8 or 9:30. And it's a class I've never taught before, so I've got to think on my feet a lot more. I really can't see this going well.
