Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OK, JZ can write all my reviews for pretty much ever. I should save that and put it over my desk next to Frankentim.(Maybe they get confessions out of me.)

What is even happening?

I hurt my neck, and slept on it funny and didn't go into Boston to see my friend from Northern Ireland, who is only in town for a few hours. I am sucky--disappointed, and disappointing. Feh. Just thought I'd share.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Tep! (1) Cool! What was I doing?

I needed to somehow get a HUGE bunch of helium-filled balloons though a tiny screened window into a boat, and you had this great idea for how to do so. You were outside the boat, doing your thing, and then you got on the boat, ruefully holding just the strings of the balloons. No balloons. Which made me laugh and laugh.

(2) Yes, and I am a big lameass who has neither sent any cards this year

Pfft. Like mine was on time. Hah.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Aww, that sucks, Cindy. I'm sorry.

Gives Cindy miracle neckrub.

Always Anti-fascist!

I have not pulled together cards in quite a few years. I am much lamer than y'all. And I happen to know that is factually true. Question of the day: Mystery or fanfiction epic?

I can't even.

Press was the right place, Ginger. I met Kelly a few times at cons. He was always very generous with his time and highly regarded by Toronto fandom. He was a giant in the field. I'm sorry for your loss and ours too.

Mystery, erika.

Always Anti-fascist!

Keeping me honest, Sail, I have to respect that.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Well, it's final. I'm moving back to St. Louis this year. The only question right now is when. I'd been thinking summer, but parental units have made a good case for "the sooner the better."

I am vascillating between relieved and very, very freaked out.

You have such a unique voice, erika. While I enjoy well-written fanfic, I think it requires subsuming your own voice to the voice of the creators. I really enjoy reading your original work and I'd like to see more of it. Totally selfish on my part.
