Well, for me, the journal is, at least in part, a promotional tool. It's also a journal and a place to communicate with friends and a few other things to boot, but the fact is, I put my journal info out there for people who follow my writing to read. Thus, no prob with the weirso, so long as he doesn't post obnoxious things in my comments.
So I guess that five part essay on "Why Men Fuck Bimbos" will have to wait for another venue.
