Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Ginger, I know just what you mean. I've got friends from college who are still 6 of the dearest people in the world to me, and I stop and realize that its been literally years since we've talked. Then I feel guilty and like a bad friend, until I realize that they haven't called me, either, that we've all got our own messes lives to deal with, and that when we finally DO talk, it'll be like time's stood still.

Lilty, that's how it happens with me. The time standing still thing. Well, except for the part where I've had a baby and L is now Everything But Dissertation and D has her second transplanted liver and G&B bought a condo in SF and....

But the friendships remain. Some bonds just get forged so strongly that when you see them again, it's like you saw them yesterday instead of three years ago.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

That's very comforting to hear, Susan. We all seem so scattered now, it's hard to know when we'll even see each other again, when the ex is selling computers in Chicago, a friend is doing dinner theater in Miami, another is trying to 'make it' in NYC, etc.

ION, I'm looking at job postings. I think maybe I'm just playing with fire and I ought to leave well enough alone for right now.

Must get dressed. Want better coffee than can make at home. Want personal pronouns back.

My credit union is sooo cool. I just went to make a car payment online and they had an extra selection on the page to donate funds for the tsunami victims. So, I donated. That easy. I loves me my credit union.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Heh. I just got spam with the subject line "Get off today," and I don't know if it means (1) I don't have to work today, or (2) I'ma get lucky today.

I just got spam with the subject line "SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT: Your hand is gonna be sore after this!" I don't have any doubts about what it means.

Oh, sweet. I just tried out my sexy new printer, using the first photo I ever took on my digicam: Kitty noir!

Always Anti-fascist!

I didn't sleep well either, but that is because every week at Christmas my neighbor, a psycho hose beast, plays host to demon spawn that apparently play hockey up there every night for a week. I hate them and her too. Monster didn't disturb me much. Didn't impress me either. Maybe if the victims weren't so NHI.I found myself thinking they "needed killing." They did not humanize them in the least.

{{{Ginger}}}

erika, I keep meaning to mention that your article was excellent.

Susan, I've been looking at the Robeez site for like 20 minutes trying to pick a single pair for my niece. Every shoe on there is so cute! Where did your DH find them at the mall?
