Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well, not really. It is more of the fact that he really wants to help me move and my family will be there.

That may not be reason enough to meet the fam, you know? If you wouldn't have done it yet that could be rushing things.

It is more like it will happen when it happens, and it just so happens that I am moving at the beginning of next month. He really wants to be there for me and I really want him there. I don't think either of us feels like we are on some sort of schedule or working off some sort of relationship checklist. It just is what it is.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Have fun at Oban! Tell them that I like their whisky very very much! Mmmmm, Oban.

I had some of their signature whiskey in a nice dry pub while the world fell apart outside. It was a mostly pointless trip, as it took 3 hours to get there, we only had two hours there, and the daylight ended as soon as we arrived. But the tickets were expensive, £13, so we had to use them. It was okay, but it would have been nicer had we had more time there. And had we gotten to see a castle.

How are ya'll? I'm back in London for the rest of my trip, though I've managed to hit the proverbial walls regarding finances (again). Ah, well. Such is life. Guess I'll just go random places in the city and see what's there.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No, I think it'll be cool. The move aspect means it's not a Meet the Family thing with all the weight that implies, just here's-this-cool-guy-I'm-seeing-isn't-he-helpful?

That's what I am thinking. This will be much better than sitting down with my family at dinner while they ask a million questions. Everyone will be busy helping me.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

That's great! Will hopefully make it much less awkward then those kinds of situations can be.

Can I ask how you met? (I may have missed it, sorry, it's something I'm always interested in.)

Yes, that too. :)

We met through a mutual friend.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It sounds like a good plan to me, sj. It won't be all portentous and Big Step like, it'll just be, "Everybody knows each other's names? Good, let's get to work".

Mmmm, signature whiskey. i"m glad to hear that even the somewhat dud side trips are not without their charms, SA.

So teacup guy notices things and wants to help sj move. Could you please have him cloned, sj? Thanks.
