I should go to the store and buy the last bit of Tim's care package. (I'm sending a cheapo discman in case he doesn't have one, to assure he can listen to rockin' mix cd.) Then I should grab a pair of yoga pants at Old Navy, because my last pair has disintegrated in the washing machine. Then I should go to the gym.
Instead, I drink coffee and watch the American Idol my roomie Tivo'd.

Hardly anyone can. It was like she was four she was so delighted. At the same time, it was absolutey primal -- she was IN the ocean like I've never seen someone in it before.

In other news, I am still slightly shaken by an awful dream I had last night where Tom told me he didn't love me, and never did. It went on and on in agonzing detail, but that's the gist of it. i woke up crying. BAH!
I never had one of those - never, nada, not once - until 1976. They now occur four to five times a year. I wake up, quite literally, screaming. It's become a ritual. Nic pats me on the arm, sleepily says "All the men you've loved loved you back, especially me" and waits for me to fall back asleep.
Fucking abandonment dreams. Horrible.
Good morning. I am insanely cranky this morning, but for a damned good reason: forgot to take a flexoril at bedtime and the result is feeling black and bluie and never having got all the way asleep.
I'll be back when I'm more human.
