Well, Locke did say last week the boars were moving out of the valley. Pretty good swimmers, yeah?!

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Some days, people do eat me to eat cookies!
If this is the case, you may be eating too many cookies. Or at least you may want to check them for telltale Wicked Witch signs, and stop eating the candy they leave out for you.
oops, typo- Some days, people do pay me to eat cookies!
You have no idea how many typos I created while typing the above sentence. It was a lot.
Also, I was in the cookie's thrall.
I went swimming though, so it balances out, right?
That's my favorite typo ever.
Timelies.
Today is being interesting. Like the chinese curse. I'm doing as little work as possible. I may even watch Alias today.
Much ma for your mom, Cashmere, and continued ma for Jilli's friends.
bag looked good Betsy --
but I reccomend this [link] if you really want lots of organization- plus washable.
Timelies, Bitches.
~ma for Jilli's friends and Cashmere's family. My father had a quadruple bypass about 10 years ago, Cashmere, and was up and walking within 24 hours. It's quite amazing what those docs and nurses can do, sometimes.
I got a short note from my friends in Jakarta.
L volunteered to travel with some relief supplies for Save the Children. He went to the devestated region of Sumatra. It was apparently quite horrific to see. He said that for about 3 miles in from the Ocean everything is devestated. No homes, just rubble. A few trees, but very few. He also said that after about that distance, everything is really still standing. He was taking lots of pictures to send back, but then the Indonesian military caught him and confiscated his camera and he had to delete all of the photos and they wouldn't let him take any more. He did say that the US is sending all kinds of food aid, which isn't what he sees as the most important now. Apparently, at least in that region of Indonesia, there is enough food, since the devestation didn't reach most of the farms. He said that the US is sending rice, rice and more rice and that there is some resentment there since the Indonesian Rice farmers are feeling like the subsidized American farmers are taking their business.
Oh ye of little faith. They could pay you to eat the cookies.
Some days, people do eat me to eat cookies! (going on site visits, etc.) (OK, it's indirect, but still)
Best typo ever.
A not-actual hangover haiku
Head keeps on pounding
Everything is way too bright
Never drinking again (until Friday at 6)
I purely love my job. I'm working on the map collection of the New Jersey Historical Society, and converting their old handwritten, "well, we know what we mean" cards into standard format involves using the calculator and a couple of specialized conversion websites, as well as peering at the handwriting and using my knowledge of the geography and the typical usages of a historical society, and, well, I'm having fun.
Plus I've impressed the project manager by being giddy over math-y stuff. "You must be smarter than me," she said as I explained some division of fractions I had to do to make the conversion website work. I didn't say, "Well, I already knew that."
Applied math is my bitch.
And after we're done here, I'm working on the Royal Institute of British Architects. Yes.
I purely love my job.
What exactly do you do, Connie? Because it sounds fascinating even though the mathiness frightens me.
Timelies everyone. Is it Friday yet?
