Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hey, billytea!

Mom's gone in for cardiac catheterization right about now to find out what they need to do next. If she needs angioplasty or stents, they'll do that today. If it's worse and she needs open heart surgery, they'll schedule that for later.

I hate the waiting.

I just ate a pain au chocolat from the cafe around the corner and it was surprisigly extremely delicious. This has started my day in an excellent manner.

ETA ~ma for Cashmere's mother, and I hope hope hope that things are better today for Jilli's friend and her DH.

What is even happening?

Waiting is so hard, Cashmere. I'm praying for peace for you, and that your mom needs either nothing, or angioplasty, and that whatever she needs, they spot it easily, and perform the procedure expertly, and that her recovery is swift and easy (and nudges her to take better care of O's grandmother).

My husband has had this procedure easily half a dozen times. He's currently packing four (?) stents. Yes, I've lost count. Open heart surgery is generally reserved for bypasses these days.

Thanks for the -ma. The catheterization went ok. But she needs a bypass operation, which they will schedule soon.

Kitty can join my evil cat. Oz has taken up the habit of pooping in the hallway by the tv room. Every. Other. Night. I'm trying to analyze him to figure why he's doing it and how I can get him to stop. We keep the litter box very clean (it's only about 12 feet away from this spot, although in another room).

Why are cats so weird? They're lucky they're furry and cute.
