Why am I not surprised that so many of us enjoy this?

Well. I was trying to skim a few hundred posts to catch up, but too tired now. I was up 17 hours ago making breakfast and getting #2 ready for school, then shocking #1 with french toast in bed for his big teenage day.

Maybe 'cuz it's organic or something.

MIL just got home from her gall bladder removal and wonderful SIL has made it her project to fix her mother's diet. SIL is vegan. She made MIL organic veg soup which was mighty tasty, but MIL was more than shocked that it was $45 for the fixin's. I promised to sneak her in some junk food.

My aunt Leona (my dad's dad's sister, is that "once removed"?) forwarded an email about how Pepsi cans are putting out a new patriotic can with the pledge of allegence, but omitting the words "Under God".

Great-Aunt, and you did everyone on that list a favor. Or at the very least, you did yourself a favor and none of them will ever send you a forward ever again.)

After taunting me with his tart, Hec abandoned me. I just want to point this out.

I read this with an entirely different interpretation of "tart."

It's true. I actually got better during the course of the day and could feel it. I don't remember that happening with a flu or cold before. Usually you wake up feeling better, no?

Actually it was a double-positive, since I had (I think) a pinched nerve in my neck last week and that was causing me a lot of pain. I took a lot of NSAIDs, hot showers and heating pad and it kept loosening up. Finally today at work I felt a twang which made me oddly light-headed for about an hour. I think I just adjusted my neck back, basically. Either that or I had a mini-stroke.

So. Health? Better! Woot. Also, work is done. I go home now.

Oh, I forgot Hec was sick. Now I feel badly.
