Simon: The decision saved your life. Zoe: Won't happen again, sir. Mal: Good. And thanks. I'm grateful. Zoe: It was my pleasure, sir.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am here, but I feel weird posting because I haven't been able to keep up at all lately and I hate just jumping in to the middle of things.

Jump in! We just had an evening shift change.

The status is NOT quo.

Nonian, that is insane!

Kids will be spending the night and their teachers have to stay with the kids who aren't picked up.

I've had this nightmare.

Hugs and hair pats to those who need them. I'm not really here, I just needed a couple minute sanity break from the grading marathon.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Heh. I never let that stop me. /Skippy Skippenstein

Liar pants. You are totally here. If you would just admit you were here, I'd share my lime merengue tart with you.

Oh I so want a lime merengue tart.

What if I bat my eyes winningly?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jilli, Cash, I wish there was something I could do for either of you.

In fact, if there is anything I can do for either of you, please don't hesitate to call, email, or fling a paper airplane at me. I adore you both, and hope everything works out okay.

I like this, so I'ma gonna steal it, and use it for my very own.

I have a lemon hazelnut tort thing waiting for me at home. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get there.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So, I just probably annoyed a whole bunch of people, most of whom I know only in passing, or not at all.

My aunt Leona (my dad's dad's sister, is that "once removed"?) forwarded an email about how Pepsi cans are putting out a new patriotic can with the pledge of allegence, but omitting the words "Under God".

Not only is this complete bullshit, but it was originally bullshit about Dr. Pepper.

I was possibly a little harsh in the email (which was "reply all"-ed), but the older I get, the less patience I have for this email bullshit, especially when even the most cursory fact checking reveals the truth.

Our wings are not tired.

I'd share my lime merengue tart with you.

Gimme somma dat.

I am officially the mother of a teen. #1 turned 13 today. It was a good day. Tired now.

We freak about our kids getting caught at school. When storms are brewing the attendance goes way down. They are talking about starting school August 1st next year to leave more room for hurricane days. 1) Parents will riot 2) We still aren't going to send them when the weather is insane.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks. It feels weird not being caught up on all of the happenings here.

There is really not much to update about my life right now. Things with the boy are still going extremely well. The nephew had a doctor's appointment Tuesday, but there is no update yet on his condition or what they are going to do about it because the doctors want to confer before they make any decisions. I am really starting to panick about having to pack up all my stuff.

I stand with you. I just "reply all" with a snopes link or something that proves the bullshit. Over time it has really cut down on the junk mail I get. I think I may have taught one or two to check facts first.
