Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think she looks like a reject from the Lollipop League on the Wizard of Oz. Ugh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

After my mom had chemo, she couldn't wear perfume anymore. She said everything smelled bad when she put it on. Can chemo change your body chemistry to that extent? I guess that's why she always just smelled like Ivory soap to me.

I prefer floral scents myself. Right now I'm into Ralph Lauren's Romance.

I want to thank everyone for the -ma. It is very much appreciated.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Pretty much I'm all about lavender/sandalwood (OTP, baby) that I mix myself. If I could find a honey scent, I think I'd wear that (and I'd try BPAL's Dana O'Shee and/or O, but all the BPAL scents I've tried turn to Play-Doh smell on me within 10 minutes).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

t shallow fashion wurblings to distract myself

I am having one of my periodic urges to change my hair. What I really want is hair like this girl's. I have no idea if I could carry off that color. I'm pretty sure Pete would be aghast at the idea of me stripping all the black out of my hair. But gosh, blood-wine hair is tempting.

Jilli, it would clash with all your pink.

PS, if you find yourself in need of real life distracting while Pete's on deadline, give us a call and we'll find ways to entertain you.

What is even happening?

Jilli, you can always cover it up with black again, if you don't like it. That is some gorgeous color. I think you should do it.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hi all, just got back home after work. I thought I would jump a bunch of posts to relate what happened today.

I'm currently taking calls from customers after a piece of an insurance settlement. We get calls from people with famous names all the time. Just your average person who happens to be named "Michael Jackson" etc.

I got one this afternoon, but waited until it was quiet to mention it.

"I got a call from a guy named Richard Harris a bit ago," I revealed.

I got a couple of smiles from the older reps. I waited a beat

I followed up with "Yeah, it seems someone left his cake out in the rain..."

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Jilli could pull it off, but I prefer the black (said the girl who had black Louise Brooks hair for many years).
