Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

'Conviction (1)'

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Geranium is of the fuschia pink variety in my mind.

Punishingly Intricate

I just spent way, way too much money at Benefit.

This is a sentence I've uttered far to many times. What all did you get?

If I only had a brain...

Scents that, when you catch a whiff of them, make you think of the color pale pink.

Tea rose is lighter than Bulgarian rose.

I'd mix in vanilla and lily of the valley, I think.

What is even happening?

Dad's procedure went well. He's having no pain from the surgery so far, but the doctor gave him a prescription for Vicodan anyway. My brother is driving him home and back to the doctor tomorrow to get the eye patch removed. I'm so glad Dad finally got this cataract fixed. He's a bad enough driver as it is; knowing his vision was getting pretty fuzzy was freaking me out.
Sail, I must have missed this the first time. I'm glad it went well. My uncle said having it done made a huge difference.

Lately I've been wondering if there is a hair cut that would look good on me in wash-and-wear circumstances (I hate having to do more than brush and install ponytail holder). It would also have to cope with my bicycle helmet for a couple hours a day, and be long enough to be put up so as to be off my neck and out of my face.
What is your hair like, WindSparrow?

I have an odd question for the Bitch hivemind: I need suggestions for single-note scents (they don't have to be floral) that smell pink. Scents that, when you catch a whiff of them, make you think of the color pale pink.

Cotton candy, but you might find it cloying.

Cindy, what Sparky said.
No wonder you're not getting your nice-props then, Lee. You're just too sexy.

Art Crawl!!!

Java Cat -- I want that perfume. . . but alas, it is too pricey for me.

(Blush, that is.)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

What all did you get?

(shuddering) All the stuff Arianne used at the makeover that I didn't have. As follows:

You Rebel
Lipscription
High Beam
Bad Gal Lash
The Gloss (in Kiss Me)
Hoola
Lip Plump
Ooh La Lift
LushSilk lip pencil
Brow Zings
Lemon Aid
Babe Cake
Bold and Beautiful lipstick
Get Bent liner brush

I can't believe how much money I just spent. Jebus wept.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ooh, pink grapefruit and rose geranium are ones I hadn't thought of.

I like the idea of cotton candy, but I don't know if my friend would be able to find a perfume-grade oil of it she'd approve of. I know the scent has cocoa, vanilla, and amber in it so far.
