Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee is so not the nicest one.

Hmph.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Three horribly depressing headlines on Yahoo right now:

  • La. court OKs anti-gay marriage amendment
  • Bush prepares for second inauguration
  • High court asked to overturn Roe v. Wade

Stop the world, I wanna get off.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Awww. I was reading the paper at lunch, and the senior class of a local high school voted to give the $25,000 members had raised for the prom to tsunami relief. Now local businesses are donating services so they can have the prom anyway.

No matter what the length, hair is never as easy for you as for the stylist. My hair has been cut by the same person for more than 10 years and she's always saying, "You can just blow it dry this way and do that." Then I tell her that she's welcome to stop by on the way to work and do my hair, but that's the only way it's going to look the way she did it again.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

P-C, that is just plain scary. (My sister would LOVE it.)

Mostly lurking...

Well, that was a waste. Fancy schmancy Harvard Square yarn shop didn't have what I need. So, tomorrow I'll hit Michael's. Betcha they'll have it. I did get some other pretty yarn, though, to make myself a scarf. Hopefully it'll turn out okey dokey.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I just cold-called two editors and an agent to ask them to be on the editor-agent panel for my RWA chapter's writers conference.

WHY don't more of these people list their email addresses? Making cold calls literally gives me the shakes.

Now that I think about it, I'm sure the reason is that I'm far from the only person who's very comfortable emailing strangers but dreads speaking with them, so it cuts down on the annoying contact factor.

Annabel has a doctor's appointment later today to look at her ears.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, that is just plain scary.

My favorite thing is Ron's little dance. Also the integration of the theme.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

juliana, Neiman's is having a Last Call sale on shoes, take an extra 40% off, including quite a few pairs of Leboutins.

And y'all are superb googlers, because yep! That's the stuff.

What is even happening?

You all are not talking enough to keep me occupied. If I end up doing my laundry, let it be on your heads.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cindy, stack the cats.
