Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I can't even.

Timelies all!

I was organized enough to get some (french press) coffee into me before I got going this morning, so any gronk is at least postponed. Our movie network is showing the Barbarian Invasions (2003 Best Foreign Film), and I've finally gotten to see it, having missed it in the theatres. It really is lovely and a wonderful coda to The Decline of the American Empire. It is shocking to see the years on the actors' faces, but Decline was 1986, which is a bit difficult to accept, but alas true. If you haven't seen it, I recommend them both highly, as movies on the human condition.

Modigliani exhibit at the AGO tomorrow, then Friday off to Troy for ConFusion and Buffistas. I appear to be combatting the winter blahs with spicy goodness.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's snowing here. Not enough for any serious accumulation, but more than enough to turn 80% of the local motorists into gibbering idiots.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Ugh.

Gronk.

Screaming baby at 3:00 a.m. Mama rocks baby until 3:45, at which point she seems asleep. Puts baby back in crib. Screaming baby at 4:00 a.m. Daddy rocks until 5:00. Baby and Daddy both still asleep.

She hasn't been like this since she was a newborn. She's not feverish, but she tugged at one of her ears a bit, so I'm going to call the doctor in a little while.

So, so tired.

No, I'm saying you're not my goddamned khakis either.

I feel so identity-less....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm about to go get my hair cut. Getting rid of about 10 inches of hair. This seemed like a good idea two weeks ago...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You could be my goddammed khakis, Steph.

Of course, then you would have a big ink streak down one leg.

Mostly lurking...

Wow, Hil! Good luck!

So, should I go to the yarn store or should I work on the paper? I really should work on the paper and treat myself later, but...
