[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The apartment I had before I bought this house had a completely rectangular tub. corners and everything.

The lack of slope in back was actually kind of nice, especially for those who do not have tiny perfect human bodies.

Thrive to spite them

My tub could be deeper and longer, and I hated using Lush stuff for awhile because if I could get enough water and sink down, water would drain out the overflow. Now I put duct tape over that and it seems to really slow down the water draining out.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

In some cases I like the slope. When I take a bath I can lean against it and read and I'm not too uncomfortable. But the slope means you have less volume in the tub which is not good.

went to Macy's and bought a cute black sweater and a just-below-the-knee skirt for $12.60 apiece

Oooh! Good job!!

Someday, I will win the lottery, and I will buy a house with a big enormous tub. Also, I will hire someone else to clean it.

Tonight, I went out to Dave and Buster's (a restaurant/bar/ChuckECheese for adults place) for a friend's birthday. Which was nice and all, but most of my friends have tomorrow off for MLK, and they also get Thursday off becuase of the inauguration (most places close whenever the gov does, plus the streets are going to be all messed up). Me, I work both days. Stupid job that's in the burbs. Hmph.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I want a tub that's either slightly shorter or has much higher sides. With the tub I have now, the only way for me to get most of my body under the water is to scrunch up my shoulders and neck to get far enough down in the tub to brace my feet against the other end.

I never even thought of that. That's a great idea! I'll have to do that next time I take a bath.

I'm big with the medicinal bath love...and being 5 foot nuthin' helps with the fitting. I never thought of duct tape, but always poke a wash cloth into the drain dealy to prevent premature draining. Works very well.

My favorite bath accompaniment is "Transitions", a tape of womb sounds with music. Vewy, vewy relaxing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now I put duct tape over that and it seems to really slow down the water draining out.

Ooh, great idea. I always end up just using my foot.

Suniiiiiiil!

Awesome to see you too. And I'll add my voice to the chorus praising your travelogues. Beautiful stuff.

Never been to India but everyone I know who has was enchanted by it.

There is a great dvd docu called One Giant Leap that has the most fantastic visuals from India. The colors alone are breathtaking.

Howze tricks whichyou now? Rested up from the road?
