If you put pickle relish in the filling for your deviled eggs, nobody notices that it's lumpy. I don't make deviled eggs often. Their preparation to eating time ratio is too high. They are faster to make since I started putting the filling in a plastic bag, clipping off the corner and piping in the filling.
They're done. I was a big meanie and woke up Emily to come taste the filling. I have a decorator [link] that I use to fill them, which makes it very easy. Of course, I ruined one of my nails in the process. So much for being all girly.
Everything is ready, though. Now what do I do for the next 6 hours?
t does a little dance for brenda, then feeds her Sweedish meatballs, deviled eggs, cookies, brownies, fruit, veggies, chips and dip, potato skins and artichoke dip...topped off with some ice cream cake
Go nap, choose nap.
I was thinking of taking a nap, but I think I need to wait a few more hours. I'm actually not really all that tired right now.
Poptarts:
Damn. These Sweedish meatballs are fabulous. I forgot how good they were. I mean, I knew they were good, 'cause otherwise, why would I make them? But, damn. They are really quite good. It's all in the sauce.
That's a lovely idea, Nonian.
My kids love Are You My Mother?, Dinosaur Roar, Green Eggs and Ham, Goodnight Moon, Little Miss Spider any Maisie Book and anything by Sandra Boynton.
I have that decorator too, vw, plus any number of decorating bags and tips because I have spent way too much of my time making pretty things out of sugar. I like the plastic bag method because you can mush it all together in the bag, fill the eggs and throw away the bag. I hate cleanup.
t tries a little softshoe to "The Sidewalks of New York" for Brenda
Now that I am finishing up a cite checking project for work, I have a hell of a lot of westlaw printouts new scratch paper.
Is it wrong that I am looking forward to reprinting a lot of my favorite fanfic (by which I mean porn) on it?
