How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Brenda, I'm glad your sister's handling this so well. That's really cool.

Huh. I think you guys have convinced me. I pretty much pffted at Nick. I'll see what the shop he recommended has to say. Thanks.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I need new underware. not sure I want to spend 30 dollars a pair - but at least that sight reminded me I need some new ones. I have some ancient underware. Older that Jilli's def of old school

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

beth, Jockey microfiber bandless. They make me insanely happy, sexy and sleek and practical and good colours and the best thing? I get them at the Jockey outlet store in Gilroy, for six bucks a pair.

Alternately, Hanes Her Way at Wal-Mart at 6 for five bucks will give you some good basic stuff. Fruit of the Loom also makes some decent women's stuff. I love getting nice basic cotton underwear. Never shall I go back to nylon on my butt. I should splurge someday on silk, though, just to say I have.

Connie, I used to be very fond of Hanes. Problem is, I can't wear anything sleek over them - for some reason, they bunch and ride up on my hips in my old age.

And I do like sleek things.

Silk undies, eh. I have some. They're not all that comfortable, weirdly.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

VS had silk undies when I worked there, back in 95. No longer. It was pretty, but silk doesn't stretch, so it tended to bag a bit.

Not so cute. But I also snagged several silk chemises, which I still have, and they just get softer and softer.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Deb, I have a few of those, and they are very nice. But most of my stuff these days is the Hanes - I'm with connie on the nylon.

I am with Erin on the silk. Chemises and camis, yep. Knickers, NSM.

Well, the microfiber is a blend of a few fabrics, I believe. I really can't do knickers without lycra in them these days. Just not comfortable.

I had a pair of purple silk palazzo pants from Express that I bought in sale in 95. I don't have them anymore, but, god, I loved them. They felt amazing.
