Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's actually a fantastic idea, Erin. Because not only will they enjoy it, the funniest ones will be by the ones who really read and understood what they were reading, you know? And the students'll figure this out when you have them read them out loud to the class.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yes, I think I will do this. But...I will need your help!

Funny recaps of what students watch. Probably The O.C...and, Jesus, what else? I don't know. I don't have TV. Dammit.

Well, they all probably watch Lost, right? Maybe? Snag some cleolinda action. I don't read the TWoP O.C. recaps, so I don't know whether they have much good material. But there's plenty of Buffy and Angel stuff. Maybe you could just ask them. Randomly ask them to list their favorite three TV shows right now, and then you'll know what're the most popular. Don't tell them what it's for...yet.

Really?! Did it give it indigestion?

Not so you'd notice, though it was the day after Good Friday, and I'm pretty sure the cathedral should have been fasting.

I caught the strap on the bronze handrail going up to the gift shop, and I couldn't back up fast enough because of the crowd. Pulled the anchor point right out of the seam of the bag, and nylon is hell to try and re-stitch.

Mostly lurking...

So, I need some Bitch advice. I just brought all of the food in from the car, except for the soda and prosecco (and I think one bottle of wine). Will they be ok in the car overnight, or will they freeze and explode? It's 38 degrees F right now and supposed to get down to 22 degrees F tonight.

If I only had a brain...

Pat me on the hair and say nice things to me. I need a new furnace, and it won't be installed till next week.l (Also, don't second-guess me. The furnace is original to the house, putting it at about 40% efficiency.)

VW. do NOT leave sparkling wine in the car when it's 22 degrees. It's ugly. You don't want to go there.

Once we bought some cooking wine, but none of us had a corkscrew. We put it in the freezer to chill for a while, and then we forgot about it and went out. When we came back, our problem was solved.

I like you.

Ok. Since I know Betsy is VERY wise, I'm on my way out to the car to get the beverages. Stupid weather. It was 62 degrees when I got up this morning!

And many pats for Betsy. I'm sure you are doing the right thing, but ick, what a pain in the ass.
