Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

A digital camera helps too, so I can figure out where I was based on the date the picture was taken.

Yes, you must see Hadrian's Wall and imagine that you're from southern Spain and your legion has just been posted to the Wall. Also, if you have any chance to see York, it's marvelous.

I've been to York--I went with Fay. It was fabulous. We went to the Viking Museum and to the Minster. I really enjoyed it there.

York is great. So many layers. That's one of the reasons I like Canterbury too.

Banking update: though our small local bank's technology is of the suck, they are all very nice people which makes it a lot better. Tom deposited the check, got a balance, and figured that we are probably OK.
