Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, may I say I'm a bit bummed? My plans for tonight fell through. I was looking forward to getting out to a NYE party to play with friends and now I can't. The hostess slipped on ice yesterday and banged up her elbow. No party. Ah, well, it won't be the first NYE I've spent by myself.

All is well that ends in pizza.

You and all the other Buffistas who don't go out, you mean...

Always Anti-fascist!

I'll be here. Since I lost my virginity on one, all other NYe have been anticlimactic. huh huh huh

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'll be home. I might even be awake. I might be drinking, though; I have pomegranate juice and seltzer. I'm such a party girl. Can't hold me back.

The most exciting thing I've done on NYE in years is write a slash fanfic. And that was 5 years ago. Whee.

Heh. I went shopping. Unfortunately, the two things I really needed/wanted to do (get a specific song on CD, and return a shirt) I didn't manage to do (the CD store was closed, and I forgot the shirt at home, grr). BUT, I got two t-shirts, a skirt, a pair of jeans, and two bras for $70! Which is awesome.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just went grocery shopping. I took the MINI Cooper zipcar, which is really the most fun car to drive ever. (Well, most fun car I've ever driven. Which means more fun than a Camry, Prius, or Lexus, which really are all practically the same car, anyway.)

Unfortunately, it looks like that's about as fun as my New Years Eve is going to get.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I went shopping, too! I got these shoes in regular black leather for cheeeep. I love shoes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How is it fun? Acceleration, handling?
