Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pregnancy test yesterday was positive. Don't tell my mother-in-law.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Woot, -t!

(I hope that's a wootable thing for you.)

Very wootable. We've been trying for a year, and now I'm seesawing between elation and the realization that I don't know anything about anything.

Big week in tamaraland, that's for sure.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I thought that was it, -t! Felicitations!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

-t!!!!!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yay, for -t!

I'm a little creeped out by Steph now, though.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My twin sister and I took the SAT in 7th grade, too. I still remember the weird looks we got from the high school kids when we walked into the exam room. Although, I bet there are fewer weird looks nowadays.

DH dies bloody. He and O fell asleep at 8:30 last night. I used the next few hours to indulge in some premium X-Box time playing a new game (something I NEVER get to do anymore). I went to bed at midnight, but Owen woke up at 2:45. I got up with him and managed to get him back to sleep after 20 minutes and crawled back into bed. Owen stuck to his usual wake up time of 6:00 a.m. So I (mostly due to my own over-indulgence) I ended up with two blocks of sleep that were less than 3 hours. Not conducive to remaining coherent all day.

No problem. Owen's a champion napper and we'll make up for it with an hour and a half nap this morning. O dropped off promptly at 8:30 a.m. After I scramble around shutting off the lights, tv and letting the dogs out so they don't disturb us, I get to sleep around 8:45 a.m.

I am in the middle of the deepest sleep when I hear DH softly calling from the hallway. "I didn't want you to be startled. I forgot something for work." He came in and kissed me (how sweet). I could barely open my eyes to acknowledge his presence. I wouldn't have known he'd been in the house had he not called out. Of course Owen heard him. As soon as DH's feet left the bottom stair, O started crying. I looked at the clock. 9:15.

DH went back to work and I'm stuck here bleary-eyed with a wide-awake baby.
