Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Erika, how can you think in this weather? I thought everyone in Arizona ran their brains on solar power. I know the moment a cloud shows up, I go to sleep.

Deb, you look splendiforous, I wish I could have watched the show. Very glad for the article online.

P-C so glad you are back safe.

Skipping 700+ posts to ask: Did Dan have a chance to ask for health~ma for one of my little guys at the group home I work at? Itty bitty little skinny guy just got diagnosed with diabetes. I couldn't ask myself as someone forgot to pay my internet bill, and I got cut off for a few days.

Always Anti-fascist!

I guess I can't, so much. Ooh, my wedding song... "It's the end of the world as we know it," Maybe some guy in Hong Kong is waiting for me to play it for him.

"The end of the world as we know it" is your wedding song? Arizonans are just plain weird. Must be why I had to leave Ohio.

Always Anti-fascist!

Not so weird if you think that is what it would take for you to get married in a non-honorary sense.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Catching up, catching up ...

The picture of Deb looks *fabulous*, and I need need need a tape of the show.

I want the kind of job that requires me to carry a $500 fabulous pink bag.

Suspect Jilli does, too

Why yes. In a pale cotton-candy pink, thankyouverymuch. As long as it is someone else's $500 paying for it.

I'm pretty sure I don't one single item of clothing (or footwear) that, all on its own, cost $100 or more.

(is veryvery quiet)

Custom corsets, and a bunch of stuff from J.Peterman from about six years ago, when they were doing all the Victorian-inspired stuff in silk and silk velvet. My justification was (and still is) that all of it will last for AGES. And someday, someday, I will have a custom-made couture Thierry Mugler suit. I will. Someday.

One very good thing about being a goth girl is that one doesn't have to worry about fashionable. Therefore, one can cheerfully shop closeouts and bargain bins, because you're just going to be gothing the stuff up in the end, anyhow.

This is true. Plus, most gothable stuff goes on clearance in January, so if you try really hard to be patient, you can re-stock your wardrobe with black velvet for not very much money.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That thing that was so scary that I couldn't talk about it and that I found out about on Friday afternoon when I couldn't do a damn thing about it either? Worked out.

I did it. I made it through. All of it. And I couldn't have made it through with all of your help. There just are not words to thank you enough. I want to go all over the world and just hug each and every Bitch.

Turns out my most amazing ever waterproof mascara that survives sleep, showers, sneezing fits that bring tears to your eye, everything and is nearly impossible to remove actually has limits. And I found them. Huh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay on the surviving and working out! And {{{Cass}}} because you don't have to be miserable to deserve a hug.

(eta: but you do have to put letters in the right order for the post to make sense. And it's so hard!)
