Yeah, I generally go to the strip-mall nail places if I want a wax, which is to say, rarely. I DEFINITELY wouldn't trust any of those places near my eyes!! Sigh. I need more friends in the area who are girly and get this shit done so they can recommend places.

Probably a good hair salon or day spa either has someone competent who does them or can rec one.

Bangs aren't out, per se, although I hate having to trim them. And my hair is so superfine and bendable that I wake up with them mashed or sticking straight up. All one length is the only route to second-day hair for me.

I got my eyebrows waxed today, and they're crooked. She waxed along the bottom edge of one eyebrow, but tweezed the bottom edge of the other, and there's a noticable difference in the way they curve. (There's a different place I used to go, that was much better, and charged half as much, but it's a longer walk, and I really didn't feel like walking there today.)
