There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

No way in hell you're getting up at some insano hour PST just to pull off a threat.

Pffft. I got up twice in one week at 4am just to do a radio interview in Albany, NY. And those were both weekdays. I would totally get up in the middle of the night to prank you.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Aww. That's sweet, in a totally whacked and insano way.

It's all about the commitment. I think I'll use a funny german accent because that shows an even deeper level of commitment.

Or I could delegate.

You're a little peculiar.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I just had a nap.

Well, Lilty, I don't know how well I remember how to use a sewing machine from 9th grade home ec. The way I see it, if I do as much sewing on this machine in the coming year, as I did by hand in the past year, it won't be a waste of money. I went for the lowest-end model Brother sewing machine at Walmart. This way, there is only $88 worth of guilt if I end up using it as a door stop. And if I do become skillful on it, and find I need more bells and whistles, I can take my time and find a high quality, high-end used machine. Or? Save up and buy a new high-end machine. As for good, I dunno. It is possible that I'll be lucky to sew decent straight lines. There are any number of nifty things that can be made with straight lines, so I shan't be ashamed of myself if that is all I can do. Like my crocheting. I can crochet rectangles, quite well in fact. Many are the scarves and afgans I have made. Non-existent are the mittens and hats.

Mostly I just wanna get this quilt together that I have worked on by hand for... oh gosh, I don't know how long. At one point I had visions of having it on my bed before winter. Now, with the help of the sewing machine, I hope to have it done before winter is over. And, yes, I'll be tying it rather than quilting it.

Crap. We're going to hit flood stage next week. I'd better build an ark.

No wait, you do have an idea.

I think your phone number is on my defunct computer. Send it to hecubot@gmail.com.

I'll be talking to you at 7:00am, oh yes.

I'm not e-mailing you, freak. I like talking to you on all sorts of occasions (Arbor Day! why do you never call on Arbor Day?!?), but 7 a.m. is not one of those occasions, and I'm not going to participate in my own unnecessary interruption of weekend sleep.
