Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

SA! You're a lovely creature. It's so nice to see posts from you. I'm thinkin' it's a beating offense too.

And very nice to see posts from you, BT. It seems all kinds of strange that you're on the early morning/night shift now, when you post.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yay, Deena! You're here!

Okay, the coolest--or most random--fucking thing just happened. I'm sitting in the Internet cafe, and in walks this guy dressed in 18th century naval costume. With a bell. He's obviously from one of the things down on the Strand, but still. He took off his highly feather-laden hat and set down his bell with a little clang, and started typing away...

I love the city.

waits expectantly for Kristin-visit

Billytea! There is a small chance I might be in Australia with Dave this summer...he, at the very least, will be there a week or two. I'm a little intimidated by the airfare, is all.

I continue to be in London and I am currently going CRAZY. I forgot how...not lazy, but slow to burn? my friends are. Getting them to do anything is like pulling teeth, compounded with the fact that none of them know what they want to do. Or what the options are. Or if they want to do the things that, say, I want to do. Make a decision, people!

SA, don't wait for them! Just go do what you want to do. Life--and especially the freedom and time to travel internationally--is too short. Plus, the UK rocks. There are so many great things to do and see, and I have a burning love for London. At the least, check out a few of the walking tours. They are amazing and will take you to some really cool old parts of the city.

Morning Deena!

Morning, Kristin!

I can't make the fonts behave. It's driving me crazy.

Yes, what Kristin said, SA, go, go like the wind!

What is even happening?

Yes, SA. Kristin is very, very wise (and *cough* should take her own advice re traveling to Australia, because it's an opportunity that seldom presents itself--money is a tool--life is for living--banquet--blah blah blah starving-cakes *cough*).

True. but SA is already in London and, I suspect, must have some funds for travelling there.

Getting to Australia can cost several thousand dollars, and...well, mortgage. But it's a valid point, and I'm going to see what happens.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeah, it feels pretty odd to me too. I can catch people in the evenings if I'm posting in the morning, but I'm still trying to make a good impression at work (not to mention I suspect I'll be flat out for a while). There's weekends, but that would cut into my sleeping-in time.

Be not afraid, for lo! The airfare will get you to Australia, which doesn't suck.

I'm turning up prices of under $1400 return on United or Qantas. (I recommend Qantas of the two for a trans-Pacific flight, though it's about $70 more.)

brillig

You know what's terrifying? Feeling your bus slide on the ice on its way to a packed intersection, that's what's terrifying. Hearing its tires spin on the ice as it's trying to pull away from a bus stop, that's only ominious.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

SA, go to St. Paul's and, after you go up in the dome, have tea in the catacombs under St. Paul's. It rocks. Plus -- how Buffista is THAT? Tea in the catacombs!
