guarding the peanut butter machine
God bless you. You're a true hero. To me, at least.
Who would carpet a hangar?
Disco Stu, that's who!
Spike ,'Sleeper'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hec, and brenda, thank you. Brenda, I never remember you're blond. Are you not, in some pictures?
I think I like [link] and if I get really daring, maybe the longish (that's longish?) pixie: [link]
My hair is much longer than this [link] right now, but see how the front-top is? That smooth front bit is what L did to it last time, and it didn't work on me. I think we were trying to grow it into something like this: [link] (though less wild, and less in the face). I don't know if it's psychological or faceological, but I need a little height in the front. I've been trying to grow it out, but think I'm giving that up and going short, again (candy for the hardworking Hecubus).
I have pretty cooperative hair, and am not helpless with it, so when I can't make something work for more than a couple of weeks, I know it's not for me.

I like it!
I can see what you mean about the eyelash-tinting. You have very pretty eyes, but you're so incredibly fair, they could use a little more framing.
and if I get really daring, maybe the longish (that's longish?) pixie:
This is my first choice for you, and not just because it's shorter. I think it's the kind of cut that would be very easy for you to maintain and style, but would also look super cute on you.
A very fair (and I'm fair, so for me to notice) woman I used to work with got her lashes tinted--swore by it. And it really brought out her pretty eyes. I would go for it, brenda.
eta...
Thanks, Hec.
Andi! Sorry I missed you in IM! I finished tearing the 1970's paneling from my 1890's basement stairway and I decided the beaded boards behind it couldn't wait for a coat of primer over the horrible pink and green.
Painting beaded boards? work.
Hec, I like the platinum and orange (though I'd change it to red), but I kind of need my front hair to remain at cheekbone-length right now, for ease of scar-disguising and mental health.
I like the idea of Cindy with a pixie cut....
Okay, I admit it. I'm trying to call up a mental picture of Cindy, and it isn't working. Do you have a picture of yourself that you're willing to link?
Sigh.
My first pet, Bathsheba, died today. She had the cat version of lung cancer, and deteriotated rapidly since Tuesday, till we figured out what was going on this afternoon and realized that there was nothing to be done. Ms. H came home from work early, we petted her for a while and then she went under.
