I am both not-pregnant and preparing to leave for New York tomorrow. I'm a procrastinator by nature, but when it comes to packing, I do it very much on purpose. Travel always gets me excited in the most irritatingly exhausting way, so I spend the 24 hours beforehand being busy getting everything together instead of dithering. OK, that's a level of incompetence that would result in me explaining to the pharmacist exactly why I'd be taking my business to a competitor in a less convenient location. And then mentioning that I would also be tracking down the owners of the chain and enlightening them about the revenue losing procedural difficulties their employees are having.

Once I figure out somewhere else to get my prescriptions filled, I will be switching over, and writing to the CVS management. I'm going to look into the prescriptions by mail thing, but I think that, last time I checked, there were some issues with getting Schedule II drugs that way.

I'm not sure where you live but in my area we have Meijer and Walgreens pharmacies. The local hospital also has one.

Anyway, the dream woman was.... JZ. She was holding a wee little baby-sized jacket, and I asked her if she was pregnant, and she just smiled, and then I leaned down to her belly and told the baby, "Hurry up and get big so you can get out here!"

(Truthfully, I would have been seriously freaked out if I had predicted it via my weird dreams. So while I look forward to Zmayhem offspring, I don't want to be foretelling their arrival. [And that goes for anyone else, too -- have all the Bitch babies you want, but I don't want to predict them! It's too creepy.])

I'm getting the sense that there's lots of baby-expecting going on here. I could be in good company! I'm not pregnant, but I'm trying real hard to be. :-)

So, I went to go get red streaks put in my hair on Tuesday. She actually did them skinnier and more like highlights than streaks, and since it's red (albeit RED-red) on black, it's very subtle, but I still really like them. I think I'm going to back to her on a month and have her do all of my hair a super-bright red, and then I'll have slightly darker red-on-red streaks. Alas, no pictures, but I do have the ones from New Year's.
