And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Oh, and by the way, what Ginger said about the star in the east? Me too. So very much NOT pregnant, thankyouverymuch.

Plei, at least you get magazines with girls in them. For some reason, at my gyne's office, all the magazines are fly-fishing themed. I've seen young pregnant Latina women, peering at them suspiciously.

Punishingly Intricate

It may not even be how much, but a what. Perfume doesn't bother me at all unless it's a few kinds. I don't know what they have in them, but the make me nausous. They don't even smell bad to me.

This is so true. I'm not generally allergic but artificial rose scent makes me wheezy. I had to ask a co-worker once to not wear the perfume she always wore because of it. It was a little awkward but I tried to emphasize how I didn't think her perfume smelled bad it just made it hard for me to breathe. I think it helped that I could be specific. She stopped wearing that perfume to work and we were fine.

Oh and Head & Shoulders shampoo does the same thing. I can always tell if that's what someone is using.

If I only had a brain...

Why is it that my scheduled 20 minute OB checkups ALWAYS seem to take about an hour,

Because your time is not as important as your doctor's.

Not that I'm bitter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Because your time is not as important as your doctor's.

Except for the people that don't show up on time and get seen anyway.

Not to mention the people who show up unexpectedly bleeding to death.

At a gynecology office? That can't be good.

And practically nonexistent for a dermatologist.

I know a dermatologist who would get all the local prisoners, no matter what their non-urgent affliction, plus things like "I can't get this tampon out, and I don't want anyone other than you near my goolie."

So for her, maybe.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Because your time is not as important as your doctor's.

It's more a case of "because your appointment is in the middle of a bunch of appointments, most of which will wind up taking about 5 minutes longer than the time allowed," as I haven't had the problem with first thing in the morning appointments.

My doc was getting paged every few minutes this morning. I suspect it was a busy baby day.
