Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Hell, I'm 34 and it still weirds me out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have to do my duty and cross pollinate sillyness.

Do NOT show that shit to people you ever hope to have sex with.

I am soooo traumatized.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

In my case, it's friends having grandchildren that's weirding me out.

Heh. By then, I'll be everyone's Crazy Aunt Lilty, and still killing fish with reckless abandon.

My roomie had two our of classmates come to her parent/teacher conference. My first reaction was "I never did see Gary after that 8th grade dance. Good to know he's still trying."

Are you ready to be strong?

You're due for some good luck, huh, butterbean?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I am so damned grateful to be able to ride the bus to work, with a one-block walk at either end.

DH rode the bus for a while here. The dropoff is right in front of his building downtown, but the walk to the stop is pretty far. I feel bad for pushing him to drive because it gets him home so much quicker. As it is now, his hours are too erratic now to keep with that line's schedule.

Maria, FWIW, I think a good portion of audits come back with them owing YOU money. Think how nice that would be!

The new guy my twin sister is dating has a twin bed! BWAHAHAHA! And...well...EEEWWWW.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The new guy my twin sister is dating has a twin bed! BWAHAHAHA! And...well...EEEWWWW.

So he's cheap and lonely....

FWIW? I planned to have a king sized bed five years ago, but really have been busy and mostly broke, what with the house payments and all.

Mentioning any future bedding plans may be seen as shameless flirting with Andi and I shall not deign to comment thereupon.

This guy owns a successful landscaping business. I'm thinking it's time for him to spring for a double, at least. However, I don't want to imagine my little sister in it. Nope. Can't think about that. Lalalalalala.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

In my case, it's friends having grandchildren that's weirding me out.

Eh. While I was pregnant with Frances, a woman I know who is two years my junior (and my brother's age) became a grandmother. We talked about it a lot--such different lives.

Speaking of the IRS, they wrote us and sent us a big fat check claiming that we had made a mistake on our taxes and they owed us. Of course, they gave us the option to disagree, but we decided to be neighborly and cash their check instead.

Hi all

Someone in another thread suggested here might be a good place to do a little intro to me.

Hello! I'm Bells. 32. Married. Aussie.

Just working my way through Series 7, which i had only ever seen the first four episodes of due to a clash with Six Feet Under two years ago. Had to make a choice. Is it a bad thing to admit here I chose SFU? Actually, truth is, a friend was taping Buffy Series 7 for us but we kinda fell out and it never happened. So we figured we'd just wait. Finally bought the whole damn show at ridiculously good prices in November. Spent most of our xmas/NY break devouring it all from the start. What a way to spend a few summer weeks!

Oh and we managed to avoid spoilers when the finale aired. Amazing, but I still don't quite know what happens to the Scoobies.

We just watched 'Conversations with Dead People' last night. Can't wait to get home and watch more - except my sister is coming for dinner. That's gonna put a dint in the Buffy viewing for a few hours...

Oh, and I was put onto this marvellous corner of the internet by someone you all know - BillyTea. How did I survive without it?

Bells

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi Bells! Welcome!
