You know what they say about payback? Well I'm the bitch.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jilli, no one could EVER take you as a cautionary tale. More like a role model.

I do not want to be in the office. I want to go thrift store shopping. I also would like some tasty hot cocoa, and perhaps a nap.

There is the point that until I was four I pretty much exclusively associated with adults, and subsequently regarded being put amongst fellow kindergarteners with much the same enthusiasm that incarcerated former cops must view being moved to general population.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It is cold, grey, and rainy here. Perfect hot cocoa weather. I think I shall have some when I get home after my therapy appt. Speaking of which, I ought to head out.

What is even happening?

Matt, I was an adult kid, too. I had 4 other girls my age, right on my street, and was very friendly with them, but I never saw any difference between myself and adults. That's probably typical of onlies.

I closed my eyes, and wished very hard for you, Jilli. Did it work?

This is me, totally. I got to kindergarten and realized that not only were all the other kids unable to read, they were completely uninteresting.

It is freeeeeeezing here. I spent part of last night making lace-trimmed stretch velvet leg warmers so my legs could be warmer today. We might get snow this weekend, which I'm kinda 'meh' about.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm meh about the chance of snow, too. Especially because it looks like another one of those typical Seattle snow scenarios where it dips into the 20's at night, snows, and then warms up during the day just slowly enough to create a slippery, slushy mess when you want to leave the house.

No, drat it all.

Same here. But at least when I told them that I was going to grow up and be the Wicked Witch of the West, they believed me. *And* asked me to put a curse on the school bully.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I could read by the time I got to kindergarten and I was quite unnerved by the teachers who were pointing to letters and saying "This is Mr. A and this is Mr. B." I thought my parents were being forced by something dreadful to lock me up with crazy people.
