Ooh, me and my "I fell down the stairs and got stigmata" palms agree. Plus, six weeks later the big spot scars are still pink.
They do tend to fade though. Four months out and I can only identify mine by the different texture from the rest of the palm skin. (Though more thoroughly messed-up knee, which didn't really hurt as much as the superficial hand injuries, doesn't look like it's gonna be pretty anytime soon.)

I went to be good and work on my kitchen and missed the chance to chat with vw. Argh.
The good news is that my kitchen looks better than it has since I moved in here. All that's left is mopping and getting the last of last night's cooked on barbecue sauce off the top of the stove. Victory is in my grasp.
